John Edwards

Okay so the official launch of this blog was on Saturday. I opened the blog in the morning with the first post and went to my full time job afterwards. After returning home, I collapsed on the couch and turned on the TV. I scanned the channel guide and saw the John Edwards show was on and so I turned that on. I hit the info button, and I believe the title was to the effect "No Coincidences" or "Not Coincidences". - An Affirmation in regards to this blog?


During the show, it got more interesting. Earlier that day at work I was talking with a coworker about when I was in college and how I would study hard and get good grades on papers and exams but would never go to class. Well I would say I went about 30% of the time. I still graduated with near a 3.5. That's not the point though. The lady I was speaking to said, "Imagine if you had just gone to class, how you would have done! Probably a 3.8 or something!"


Well when I watched the show that night, John Edwards said the exact same thing! I forget if it was him speaking about himself or was coming through with information from a loved one for a audience member, but I found that to be strange that I had heard the exact same point earlier that day from someone else.


Then John was asked by an audience member if he believed in reincarnation and he said definately. He said he didn't think it happened that quickly after you cross over though. Anyway, the next day, (today) I was at the book store, and next to me two people were having a conversation about reincarnation! - What a strange Chain of Events

Shared Dream

Well I woke up after having a dream about driving off a bridge into the water. My dream consisted of being in the car with my someone, I think it was my girlfriend, driving off a bridge by accident, and about to hit the water, and then I wake up.

Ok so now I wake up and tell my girlfriend about this dream. Oh my god she says. I had a dream last night that I was in a car under the water and I was trying to get out. So I had the start of the dream, and she had the end of it.

Why did this happen?

I wake up around 6am, hours earlier than normal, for no reason. Well, about 20 minutes later the fire alarm goes off in my building and I have to leave. 1. Why did I wake up before this happened? There was no fire. It was cold and I had my jacket with me, and my cd player still in the pocket. So on the way out of the building, just outside I turn on my cd player. I turn on the radio and the very first words I hear are coming from a voice on the radio saying, "There are no coincidences.". This was a series of events I can only chalk up to an affirmation to me that tell me, hey watch out for coincidences - they have meaning. I believe maybe this was a coincidence to teach me about coincidences. Why? I have no idea. But, since then I have been keenly aware of the coincidences that take place through my days.

Little Miracles

Okay take a look at some of the strange things that have happened to me, this is REALLY interesting and WEIRD stuff, that I do NOT believe are coincidences.

(1) I was working a promotion at a supermarket, I had a cart with a very heavy kiosk in it, and I was getting ready to pack up the car. I brought the cart over to the trunk of my car, and turned around. Uh oh! I was on a hill. The cart took off and was flying full speed ahead into a..... Armored Car. SMACK! It hit the side of the armored car *hard*. The armored car had pulled up in FRONT of where it would had hit. Behind the armored car was a $50,000 or so brand new mercedes benz. - Thank god for the little miracles.

(2) I was in a very bad situation. I HATED my job. In fact, I thought my job was not right at all. I felt like I was dis-servicing people. The more I tried to do the right thing, the more I realized it would be impossible at the place. When my boss asked me once more to do something I didn't feel quite right about, I decided to quit without having a full time job lined up. I was also in debt several thousand dollars at the time. Well I had a part time job I was working here and there and was wondering I should try it full time. I felt desperate. So I asked the higher power for some guidance on the situation one morning. I said, I need to know TODAY if this is the direction to take. I did have a choice between two jobs at the time. The part time job and another I had interviewed at. I went to the supermarket and prayed this prayer. Then I had a taste for some coffee. Well I usually go for dunkin donuts but this time I had a taste for the local diner coffee which I never go to just for coffee. So I went, pulled up, and ran into the president of the company for the job I was considering taking. He was visiting from tennessee with my manager. He only comes up to NJ about 2x a year. He gave me a hug and said good to meet you, and said wow this is weird, it must be a sign from above! I took the job and became the top sales person in the company that year, got out of debt, and saved several thousand dollars. - When you trust god and do what your gut says is right, he will reward you.
